Our Black President

We have a black President
400 years of slavery
Another 100 years of oppression
And another 40 years of struggles after that
but today...NOVEMBER 4, 2008
WE HAVE A BLACK PRESIDENT

I thank God for allowing me to see history be made in my lifetime, neither the journey or battle is over though, and the last thing we can do is become complacent with where we are in our lives. Having a black president is great, but the McCain rallies have proves, if anything, that there are still some twisted paradigms out there, so until we change those we still have something to fight for. There can always be better and that is something we need to fight to achieve...
